Stand with the refugees of the Ukraine.
The events in Ukraine will no doubt cause concern for many of our parishioners.
The people of Peckforton, when they see others in need, have always wanted to help out in any way they can.
As we want to show our support as a community, Peckforton Parish Meeting are going to coordinate a collection to support those who have been forced to flee from their homes.
Please see below the items being collected (we ask that it is these items only as no food items can be sent).
ITEMS NEEDED: foil survival blankets; toys; nappies; sanitary towels; first aid
kits; sleeping bags; metal cups, thermal clothing, hair brushes; shampoos;
toothbrushes; children’s clothes; bandages and non-perishable goods like rice.
Please contact Laurence Woodhouse, Chairman of Peckforton Parish Meeting
either by phone on 07932 687474
or by email to either:- laurence.woodhouse@yahoo.com
or via peckfortonparishclerk@gmail.com
Laurence will be happy to receive any donations, which you can either drop off at his house, or which he will be pleased to collect as needed.
If you are able to support the refugees in any way, we know it would be very much appreciated by all of those that are suffering during this time, or If there are particular family circumstances that you think we should be aware of, please let us know and we will do all we can to support.
