In 2000 a book on the History of Burwardsley was published. Recently Burwardsley Pariah Council have managed to get the book copied into a digital format.
In order to promote Burwardsley and the wider area, a link to the entire book has been included on the Burwardsley Parish Council website for people to enjoy finding out about the history of the village, and it’s available free of charge .
