Findings of the ‘Let’s talk about… Transport’ Engagement Exercise

The ‘Let’s talk about Transport’ engagement exercise, which ran between 20 November 2023 and 28 January 2024, asked for views on the challenges we face and the priorities for local transport across the borough.

The findings and feedback on how we are responding to the key messages are available to view here.

Considered by the Council’s Cabinet in September 2024, the findings will help inform the Council’s decisions about the vision, priorities, and approach for the new draft Local Transport Plan. Details of this meeting can be found here.

Next Steps

‘Let’s talk about… Transport’ will continue with further engagement and consultation on the draft Local Transport Plan throughout 2025.

You can register for updates on future stages of the development of the new Local Transport Plan here.

Have Your Say

Cheshire West and Chester Council are starting to develop a design code for the borough, in partnership with Create Streets.

Design codes are a collection of design principles which help residents define what good development and high-quality public streets and spaces look like in their area.

Once developed, the design code will support the delivery of the Local Transport Plan vision to help create more sustainable, and attractive places within our communities.

We want you to have your say by sharing your views about which places, streets and buildings are liked (or not). The map and short survey are hosted by Create Streets: https://communities.createstreets.com/CWC

The online survey will be open until Thursday 26 September, it can be completed in five minutes with as few or as many places picked.

For any questions, or accessibility issues with the survey, email: contact@createstreets.com
